WE look forward to seeing you there!



During the month of June, the 3-6 students will be taking advantage of this beautiful weather and take part in additional outdoor activities.  From water games to relays to scavenger hunts and more, the students will be able to get out the energy that the end of the school year brings!  We will be taking the students to Eliot Park to play in the water spay area.  Please have your child keep extra clothes in their backpacks to change into if they get too wet!  The students will also have the opportunity this month do activities based on a summer theme.  They will make ice cream and smoothies and other delicious hot weather treats!!


It has been a pleasure working with you and your family!  We have had a memorable year with your child and saw how each of them have changed and grown throughout the past nine months!  Some highlights of the year that your child took part in are:


Cooking Activities:  Apple Pie, Cake Pops, Apple Crisp, Pretzels, Sour Cream Chocolate Cake, Fondue, Swedish Chocolate balls, Smoothies, Crepes, Dog Bones, Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie, Caramel Apples, Pumpkin Pie,  Banana Bread, Bacon Cresent Rolls, Gourmet Popcorn and more!


Arts /Crafts/Activities:  Monet Paintings, Beady Buddies, Friendships Bracelets, Mummy Luminaries, Pumpkin Carving, Sewing, Tuesday Trivia, Unscramble, Word of the Week, Counting Jar, Jeopardy, Face Painting, Scavenger Hunts, Flag Football, Wall Ball, Soccer, Street Hockey, Water Balloon Pinatas, Marshmallow Monuments, Marshmallow Shooters, Basketball, Field Day, Commercial Making, Egg Burt, Slime, Bouncy Balls, Monthly Pencil Contest, Caring Chain, Monthly Birthday Bashes, Time Capsules, Friday Reading, Jewelry Making, Apple Taste Testing, Shrunken Apple Heads, Project Bread Fundraiser, Trivets, Snowflake Crystals, Salt Dough Snowmen, Bingo, Electronics Day, France Theme, Germany Theme, Chinese New Year Celebrations, St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and more!

Last Day of School

Friday, June 28th


Please note: Thursday 6/27 and Friday 6/28 are Early Release Days with a 12:00 school dismissal.  


HEDP will close at 4:45 on both Thursday, June 27 and Friday June 28th!  Your child must be prepared with a bagged lunch on these days!
