Pre-K: March Newsletter

What we did: Spring is finally here! In the month of February we learned about letters I through L. We completed a ton of fun art projects this month. For letter I we learned about how igloos are made and then constructed our very own miniature versions out of sugar cubes and icing. Then we made fun and colorful jellyfish for the letter J. Due to all of  the snow days we did not get to focus on letter K in as much detail. Valentine’s day fell perfectly on L week. We spent the day learning about love and we made heart crowns. For the rest of the week we made lion masks.

What’s to come: We will start off the first week of March with letter M. The whole week is dedicated to music! We started learning a new song called Froggie Goes a courtin’ we’re learning how to keep beats and follow rhythms with hand held musical instruments. For letter N we’ll be making noodle necklaces! We’ll be learning about the ocean for letter O, writing plays for letter P and then finishing the month off with letters Q and R.
