Welcome to PreK Extended Day

Hello Pre-K families!
​We are so excited to start working with your amazing children! We have a lot of fun and exciting things planned for this year. As the year starts we will be focusing our energy on getting use to the classroom and daily schedule. After everyone is adjusted we will start on our All About Me books and then moving on to learn about each other's families!

Please remember to bring in a picture of your families for us to share, a set of spare clothes in a ziplock bag labeled with your child's name, and a pillowcase to hold their rest mats.
They are more than welcome to bring a blanket or stuffed animal; whatever makes them feel comfortable for rest time.

Pre-K Extended Day Schedule

12:15-12:20 Classroom pick-up and arrival to Extended Day
12:20-1:00 Rest time *Each child has an individual mat, which he/she may bring books to*
1:00-1:30 Lunch 1:30 Read aloud & Meeting
1:45-2:05 Activity time & choice time
2:05 Clean-up & Wrap-up
2:25 Pick up

*On a daily basis the timing of the schedule is due to change based on unpredictable events. The daily schedule will include us reading a book or doing an activity. We understand that outdoor time is important as well, and occasionally may swap the schedule to ensure the children a breath of fresh air and some time for physical activity*
